correctly profiling total strangers based on vibes
effectively operating every computer by typing and nothing else
ripping an IV out of your arm without consequences

This post breaching containment has taught me that a lot of people seem to think they can accurately profile complete strangers. For the record, no the fuck you can’t.
You sorta can, if they cooperate.
Human people have developed a whole complex set of social cues and scripts to communicate basic motivations quickly. A decent chunk of that happens almost subconsciously, and comes across as “vibes.” You can’t completely trust it - the person could be lying or withholding information, they might not use the exact set of social cues you’re used to, or their “vibes” might be affected by their mood, among other possibilities. So they need to be from a similar enough background/culture, not too emotional, and they need to *let* you read them (or at least not conceal).
Not really the same thing, but it’s kinda cool that we can do that.
